Just a Note to Say Thank You

I have been thinking about this so much and needed to put it into words. I am grateful for each of you. I hope you know how much I really do love you. I feel so happy when I go to work. In all the classes I have been taking, they talk about finding your target market. I have never worried much about that. I feel like this happens organically with me. I am who I am and I attract those who get me. I don't fret when I get that one and done client. I bless and release. I want the best for each guest in my chair. And if they need a stylist who they can communicate better with, I would actually love to help recommend.

Communication is so important and I am an open book. I want each guest to feel comfortable telling me what they like or don't like about their hair. I have been doing hair long enough, that I can do anything if a guest can explain what they want. If you are new, sometimes it takes an appointment to really get to know each other before it is a complete bullseye. Sometimes we hit the nail on the head right away. Other times, I need to communicate what might not be possible during that visit. If we have that rapport, that is the basis for good hair. I hope everyone out there knows, if you didn't like something, you can tell me anything. It is just about communication.

Anyway, this is post is just to say I know it's not just hair. I wanted to say thank you to all those who get me. I try so hard to be raw and real. The down side of that is, I have tried at times to shrink myself and be extra humble and then other times I can be too blunt in expressing myself. I never toot my own horn. I never fake excitement. If I tell you I am happy, it is because I am. If you ask me how I am today, I will tell you the truth. If I am tell you I am grateful for you, it is because I feel it 100%.

And I am. I think you all so sweet and kind. You are so generous and interesting. I love hearing about your families, friends, and your jobs. I love that you tell me what is going on in the news. I love to hear about the hope you have in the world, your faith and your passion for life. I love how you care about your hair and how you know it is important to take care of yourself as well as those in your lives. I love watching all of our lives unfold and the miracles happen every year. I am grateful for you and the love you have shown me at every visit.
